Clearances Workshop

CLEARANCES WORKSHOP

Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Newlonsburg Elementary Computer Lab

On THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2015 the Franklin Regional School District is hosting a Clearances Workshop from 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Newlonsburg Elementary School Computer Lab. During this time, the Computer Lab will be open for you to drop in and use a computer to apply online for your Child Abuse ($10), PA Criminal History ($10), and FBI clearances ($28.75). Appointments will be made to have your fingerprints scanned by a mobile provider for the FBI clearance. There will be no formal presentation during this time period. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you with questions or concerns.

Please bring the following items to speed up the process when you visit:

–      Credit Card

–      Social Security Number

–      Photo ID: Driver’s License and Passport are acceptable examples

–      All address of where you have lived since 1975

–      All household members  you have lived with since 1975

If you want to schedule an appointment to have your fingerprints scanned, please send an email to hroffice@franklinregional.k12.pa.us; no phone calls please. You will receive a confirmation email with your scheduled time and are suggested to arrive 20 minutes early if you need to apply for your FBI confirmation number. You must have an FBI registration number to have your fingerprints scanned. Time slots for fingerprinting are limited; however, preregistration on the Cogent site speeds the fingerprinting process. Please be sure to bring your registration form with you.

If you are not available to come to the workshop, or would like to begin the process, you can click the following links to obtain your clearances:

PA State Police Criminal History Clearance
PA Child Abuse History Clearance
FBI Fingerprint Clearance

***For district staff scheduled to work, please understand that we will not be able to schedule you during your normal work time.***

Time slots are limited for fingerprinting, but individuals will still be able to apply and register for their other two clearances and register for the FBI fingerprinting. If you are unable to be fingerprinted during the workshop, we will provide you with alternate locations to go and be fingerprinted. Otherwise, please know that we plan to offer future workshops in the late afternoon.
