No paper copies of PTO newsletters will be sent home with students.  We also encourage everyone who utilizes Facebook to join our Sloan PTO Press Facebook page.

We have several upcoming events with volunteer needs. We are considering using Volunteer Spot (online resource) to schedule volunteers that will send reminders to volunteers of their dates.

Our #1 fundraising event this year will be the Dance-A-Thon. We have cut back other fundraisers throughout the year. The Dance-A-Thon will be held in the fall. Parents/friends/family members can also sign up for our Corporate Contribution programs with Giant Eagle, Target, Amazon Smile and more. You will earn money for Sloan by simply  linking your shopping to Sloan Elementary. We will have a booth at open house for people to link their cards and accounts to the various programs.

Spirit sales will continue throughout this week.  The Fall Book Fair will be held during students’ library time, open house, and the Fall Family event.
