Spring Fundraiser

As a reminder, pick up for Sarris Candies and Gongaware & Parry Easter flowers is today, March 19th from 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM in the LGI. Cash and carry lilies, tulips (red, yellow, or pink), and hyacinths (pink, blue, or white) will be available for $7.50.Thank you to all who placed orders!

Spirit SalesSloan Paw

Sloan's Blue and Gold Spirit Sales will be held this Thursday and Friday, March 21st and 22nd. Kindergarten, first, and third graders should plan to shop on Thursday. Second, fourth, and fifth graders should plan to shop on Friday. (Note: Due to the third grade field trip, third graders should shop on Thursday.)

 

Please instruct your children to shop at the table closest to their classrooms on their way into the building as the busses drop them off. Stickers, tattoos, pencils, pencil toppers, and beads will be available at this sale and are priced below $1. Swim bags will also be available for $8. Everyone is invited to wear their purchases and school colors on Spirit Days. GO PANTHERS!

 

 

Sensational Science Night!

Please join us this Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 for an evening of family fun, exploration, and learning. There will be opportunities aplenty to stimulate creativity and imagination including hands-on experiments, interactive games, demonstrations, and displays by science-focused companies and institutions, Franklin Regional student scientists, teachers, and parents!  Bring the whole family, and please remember that all students must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. Bake Sale

Attention, bakers and shoppers! We will be holding a Bake Sale during Science Night this Friday, March 22nd, from 6:30 - 8:30. We're looking very forward to an evening of sweet treats and PTO profits and need your home-baked and store-bought goods to make it a success! Donations can be dropped off anytime during the day on Friday, March 22nd at the Greeter's desk or brought in before the Science Night events get started. Please kindly label goods that contain nuts. Thank you in advance for your contributions and patronage!

 

Please also mark your calendars for the third and final Bake Sale of the year which will be held during the Science & Art Fair on April 12th (6:00 - 8:00).

Relay for Life Relay For Life  

The American Cancer Society's Murrysville Relay for Life is less than two months away! The event will take place from Saturday, May 18th at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 19th at 9:00 a.m. Please consider taking this opportunity to become a Team Sloan member by visiting the Relay for Life website.

 

Donations can be made online, or checks can be made out to the American Cancer Society and sent to school in an envelope marked "PTO Duck Race." Please contact Relay for Life Chair Chris Sadoski (chris@sadoski.org) for additional information. We hope to see you on the FRHS track!
